A crowd pleaser when comes the time for barbecues. A classic at Casa Gustafssson. I don’t think there is any other single receipe that I have been asked to give away as much as this one.
Ingredients
- Chicken thigh filets (boneless and skinless) approx. 800g
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tsp ground cumin (spiskummin)
- 1 tsp chile powder / cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp dryed thyme or 2 tsp frozen / fresh thyme
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
What you do
- mix all the ingredients for the marinade
- put the chieck thighs in the marinade and make sure they are well covered
- leave to marinate as long as possible, at least 20 minutes
- cook on hot, then low grill for approx. 20 minutes
- check for doneness
- serve with pita bread or oriental bread, raita, lebanese aubergines and/or tabouleh
